Are you a motivational “liver”? Philippians 1:12-14
Paul was being watched by both believers and non-believers! How Paul handled his present situation would either encourage or discourage those that watched his life. Paul tells says that his imprisonment had served as a motivational witness to those that watched. Word had spread throughout the palace guard that Paul was in prison because of his faith in the Lord! He had not done something wicked or evil; he simply was living out his faith! This was reason for the guards to talk “maybe this Jesus stuff is true”?
Does your walk of faith merit something positive to talk about?
Paul’s life also motivated the believers to become bold or bolder! The believers saw that Paul not only talked it, but he lived it! Their leader was the real deal! These believers were probably saying or thinking something like this, “if Paul remains faithful and bold for Christ even though he is in prison, how much more bold should we be being free?”
Does you walk of faith motivate other believers to be bold for the Lord? If not what do you need to change about your relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ?
