Hello, I
am Savong Ker, bi-vocational pastor for the
Cambodian Baptist Fellowship. I am here to
say that I love God and committed to do his
will. I am here to share with you the
Gospel. So please join our church. God's
done wonderful things in my life and we want
to show you how much he wants to bless you
only if you would let him be in your life.

Our Mission
The Cambodian Baptist
Fellowship is a newly formed Cambodian Christian
mission church. While we are in the
developmental stage, we have accepted the
gracious hospitality of Corona Baptist Church,
who is assisting us with temporary worship
facilities.
Our Profile
Per the November 2003 issue
of Portraits magazine, page 14, "Corona Baptist
Church, Chandler, is sponsoring and offering
space for the Cambodian Baptist Fellowship,
Arizona Southern Baptists' first Cambodian
congregation.
The new mission is a result
of the International Festival held during
Crossover Arizona last June. Sok Doeung, a
national church planting missionary with the
North American Mission Board, gathered a group
for the event and met wit them about the
possibility of starting a new church.
He then talked with Jerry
Martin, director of evangelism/missions for
Valley Rim Association: Byron Banta, pastor of
Corona, and a group from Corona about partnering
in the new work.
Savong Ker, a layman, is
pastor of the new work and also leads the music
and plays the keyboard for the worship service.
About 40 people attended a
time of worship and potluck on Saturday, October
4, and 19 attended the first official worship
service the following Sunday morning in Corona's
Fellowship Hall."
